First established in 1992 the clinic started at the family home of Dr Tilak Arunachalam under the name of Belmore Family Medical Practice. The practice rapidly outgrew its original space and moved to its current home opposite Minifie Park in 2003.

In 2018 the practice was extensively renovated to accommodate more clinicians and on site pathology. Our name changed to Balwyn Doctors.
