Bio

​

Dr Ashvin grew up in Balwyn, going to school at Camberwell Grammar School. Following his father's footsteps into medicine he was accepted into the Melbourne University Medical School in 2002, graduating from the St Vincents Hospital Clinical School in 2007.

​

During his hospital residency Dr Ashvin worked mainly in Surgical and Critical Care Specialties. He has worked at multiple tertiary and secondary referral centres throughout Melbourne. 

 

Dr Ashvin completed his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in February 2015.

​

Dr Ashvin has completed a Masters Degree in Skin Cancer Medicine through the University of Queensland. He also works two days per week (Tuesday and Thursday) at a Skin Cancer Specialist Clinic in Doncaster East.

​

Dr Ashvin has also developed an interest in Metabolic Syndrome and Weight Management, utilising dietary strategies including Low Carb/Healthy Fat, Ketogenic and Intermittent Fasting.
